A Romantic Delray Beach Courthouse Elopement Coffee, City Streets & Old School Square

I'm so excited to start sharing more of the beautiful love stories and special moments I've been blessed to capture through photography! I've had the opportunity to photograph so many wonderful couples and sessions throughout South Florida, and I can't wait to share more of these memories here.

To start, I wanted to share one of my favorite intimate elopements in downtown Delray Beach, Florida!

There's something so special about courthouse weddings. The simplicity, the intimacy, and the freedom to celebrate your love in a way that feels completely your own. You don't need a big wedding or an elaborate venue to create beautiful memories of your wedding day.

This particular elopement was such a sweet reminder of that. From romantic portraits inside the Delray Beach Courthouse to sharing coffee and sweets at a local café, we spent our afternoon capturing their love throughout some of my favorite spots in downtown Delray Beach.

A Beautiful Ceremony at the Delray Beach Courthouse

Our time together began at the Delray Beach Courthouse, where these two officially tied the knot!

After their ceremony, we explored some of my favorite spots inside the courthouse for their first portraits as newlyweds.

One of the things I love most about photographing elopements at the Delray Beach Courthouse is the beautiful variety of backdrops available without having to travel anywhere. The marble staircase is easily one of my favorite indoor locations. It has such a timeless, elegant feel and makes the perfect setting for romantic wedding portraits.

Another favorite of mine is the gold elevators! They're such a unique feature of the courthouse and add a little vintage-inspired charm to the photos.

After spending some time indoors, we headed outside to capture more beautiful portraits around the courthouse before making our way into downtown Delray Beach.

Coffee, Sweets & Newlywed Moments at Glimmer Café

One of my favorite things about intimate elopements is that there's so much freedom to make the day personal.

For these two, that meant stopping for a little coffee date at Glimmer Café, just down the road from the courthouse.

They enjoyed coffee and sweets together while I captured some of the candid moments in between. I absolutely love incorporating little experiences like this into wedding galleries. Not every photo has to be perfectly posed and sometimes the simplest moments end up being some of the most meaningful.

After their coffee date, we wandered outside for a few more portraits along the nearby streets. Downtown Delray Beach has so much charm and I love being able to incorporate the surrounding architecture and streets into elopement galleries.

Romantic Wedding Portraits at Old School Square

To finish our time together, we made our way over to Old School Square, another beautiful location in the heart of downtown Delray Beach.

After photographing the elegant interiors of the courthouse and the cozy atmosphere of Glimmer Café, I loved being able to incorporate some natural greenery into their final portraits.

Old School Square offers such a beautiful change of scenery, with greenery and outdoor spaces that are perfect for romantic, natural wedding photography.

This is one of the reasons I love planning multiple portrait locations for courthouse elopements when time allows. In just one afternoon, we were able to capture so many different looks and settings while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

From timeless courthouse portraits to candid café moments and romantic outdoor photos, their gallery told the story of their wedding day in such a beautiful way.

Why I Love Photographing Delray Beach Courthouse Elopements

As a South Florida wedding and elopement photographer, I have such a special place in my heart for intimate weddings.

There's something beautiful about stripping away all the expectations of a traditional wedding and focusing on what matters most: the two of you and the commitment you're making to each other.

I also love that downtown Delray Beach offers so many opportunities to make your elopement feel unique. Whether that means stopping at your favorite coffee shop, exploring the charming downtown streets, or finding a beautiful spot surrounded by greenery, there are so many ways to create a wedding gallery that feels personal to your relationship.

And you don't have to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of the camera! I'll guide you through the portraits while also capturing the natural, candid moments that happen along the way.
